Bettye retired in 2021 after 43+ years at General Atomics. She worked in various Departments, including Accounting, Finance and the Internal Audit/Government Compliance Department.

Since retiring, she and her husband (Jeff) spend the early morning hours walking their dog, Chewie. Bettye also enjoys visiting with family members across the U.S., especially her 96-year-old Mother in Mississippi. As time permits, she reads, does jigsaw puzzles and tries her hand at cooking.
