MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

GARA invites you to join our social organization, which offers quarterly luncheons with interesting speakers discussing current world scientific or general interest topics. Our annual dues are $40 for 2026, and GARA provides you a great forum to talk to former co-workers and stay in touch and reconnect with old friends. Membership is open to all General Atomics and Affiliated Companies retirees, current employees, former employees, and their spouses/partners. Although you may not be retired, our luncheons can offer unique networking and educational opportunities that might not otherwise be available to you. GARA offers up to four membership luncheons each year at various locations with speakers at all events. We approve the association budget and elect the Board of Directors annually at our year-end holiday luncheon. Recent venues include the Hamburger Factory, Bernardo Heights Country Club, and the San Diego Yacht Club. The GARA newsletter is emailed out quarterly to all current members in good standing and includes information about upcoming events, a report from GA - Human Resources on retiree issues, activities of retired associates, member memorials, and other items of special interest.
